Well, the cliche was still present in the story with face slapping but not with the stupid amounts of sensitivity towards one reputation and more with everyone being greedy and wanting to protect their interests. They weren’t at least absurdly naive, stupid or cliche. It also feels impressive and badass when he actually is stronger than everyone else afterwards as they don’t seem like ants. Here he does actually have some competition among his level, not just immediately one shotting everything. They become either too overpowered too quickly, or the increase in strength is meaningless, as the hierarchy of strength and characters in the world are all too out of proportion. In most novels, especially now, they rely on their concept (cheat). The sense of gaining strength and levelling up actually felt gratifying and it felt grounded. I enjoyed this novel for around the first 600-700 chapters. So there are no genuine reviews here so I’ll write about my experience.
